Pam's Pantry understands the importance of knowing the presence of certain ingredients in food products. Growing up with lots of Allergies and having family members with severe reactions to some types of foods has given us a clear understanding of how frustrating it can be to find you are consuming items you choose not to, or, how fearful it can be for a person with severe allergies to consume the wrong thing.
 
Therefore, this page is devoted to a listing of our products that contain some of the more commonly known food allergens.  We have made every attempt to list our products that may or may not fit special dietary needs. Most of the categories listed below are based on specific questions that we have previously received. If you have a question or need to know specific information on an ingredient of a product due to allergies or special dietary needs, please contact us directly. We will be happy to address all requests and will also be happy to add this additional info to this list.
 
SPECIAL NOTE: Many of our ingredients come from facilities that also process products containing peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans, shellfish and wheat ingredients.
 
 
COMMON ALLERGENS:
 
MSG - The following dip mixes contain MSG, however, depending on your tolerance for this, the only mix that we directly add the MSG to is the Right on Ranch. The other 3 mixes listed below have trace amounts as they are added into a flavor by the supplier.

SEAFOOD - Currently our dip mixes do not contain any seafood products but, as stated above, some of our ingredients may come from a facility that processes fish or crustaceans.
 
NUTS - We do not have any dip mixes that contain nuts and do not have nuts of any kind on the premises. However, as stated above, some of our ingredients may come from a facility that processes peanuts or tree nuts.
 
GLUTEN - We have received requests for Gluten content and are in the process of determining which mixes contain Gluten. I have found some helpful information and will continue to work on this. To date, most persons who have Gluten allergies are very aware of the types of foods they need to stay away from and have been able to determine which of our mixes they should avoid. Please call us directly if you have any questions in regards to a specific dip mix so that we may be able to determine if it contains gluten.
 
SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS
 
SUGAR/DEXTROSE - The following dip mixes contain sugar or dextrose. If the product is listed here, it contains either sugar or dextrose. I have noted "dextrose" next to those products that contain only dextrose. Also, most contain only a trace as it has been added to a flavoring by the supplier and not directly by Pam's Pantry. I have included a "T" for trace if it has not been directly added to the dip mix:

SALT - The following dip mixes do contain salt. If you need to watch your sodium, please contact us and we will check the actual salt content. We have not directly added salt to  these mixes, but most have a small trace of salt. For instance, any products that we use Bacon Bits or Cheese in will contain salt as it is found in the Bacon Bits and the Cheese Powder we use. Many of our customers are able to consume the small amount that is found in our mixes. I have placed a "T", for trace, beside any mix that we have not directly added salt to. Please contact us directly if you have any questions in regards to this.

DAIRY - Very few of our dip mixes contain dairy products. However, many of them are mixed with Sour Cream and/or Cream Cheese. All of the mixes can be mixed with soy based products. If your real adventurous, check our recipe section for directions on how to make your own soy sour cream. The
following dip mix packets do contain dairy ingredients (this is pack ingredients only, not additional mix items):

VEGETARIAN - If you follow a vegetarian diet, there are no dip mixes that should be excluded. All of our products that contain bacon or ham are made from soy based imitation products and are safe for you to consume.
 
WEIGHT WATCHERS - Please click on the link below for a detailed page of points per mix. All of our products can be combined with "low fat" or "no fat" ingredients for delicious treats that will keep you on track. . .just remember, if you bite it, write it!
